C++ Software Engineers - Oxfordshire - £25-35k + bonus + benefits
Software Engineers with a good computer-related degree and excellent C++ skills on Windows (and ideally a background in C) required. You will have a very good knowledge of C++ including Standard Template Library, knowledge of object oriented engineering (UML, design principles, development process), knowledge of design patterns according to Gamma et al, and some knowledge of writing secure code. Experience in any of the following also an advantage: GUI design (ideally using Windows Template Library), InstallShield and Microsoft Installer technologies, developing distributed applications (especially in the context of Windows Active Directory), developing large database applications (100,000 records min), Microsoft Windows Server Systems (ideally one or more of Exchange 2000, SharePoint Portal Server, SQL Server), and a working knowledge of C# and managed code. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Software Engineers to join our client who is a leading security software company in Oxfordshire. You will be responsible for writing cross-platform software in C*C++, investigating reported issues, and documenting procedures.
